Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Modela website and pre-launch registration service. They do not constitute an insurance contract.

1. Insurance distribution
Modela operates as a distribution intermediary in the IRA licensing process. All insurance risk is underwritten by regulated insurers. Modela is not a lender.
2. Eligibility
Users must be resident in Kenya and provide accurate identity and farm information. Minors may not register independently.
3. Payments
Premiums are collected via M-Pesa. A payment confirmation SMS is proof of receipt pending reconciliation with the underwriter.
4. Limitation of liability
Modela’s liability is limited to the intermediary service fee it earns. It does not guarantee payouts, which depend on index triggers and insurer claims handling.
5. Changes
Terms may be updated as the service matures. Material changes will be notified by SMS and email where we have valid contact details.
